1957
Herb Lakebrink opens Lakebrink Refrigeration in Union, working on commercial coolers for the stores and taverns around Franklin County.
Early 1960s
Herb starts installing heating and air conditioning and takes a particular interest in heat pumps — decades before they were common in Missouri.
1999
Allen and Kathy Eaker, both employees, buy into the company.
2000
The name becomes Lakebrink Heating & Air Conditioning and the focus goes fully to HVAC.
2020
Allen and Kathy buy the remaining shares. Their children Amber, Taylor and Megan work in the business.
Today
Residential and light-commercial repair, replacement and new construction; our own sheet-metal fabrication shop; Daikin Comfort Pro dealer. The phone is still answered by a person.
