Questions we get
every week.

Plain answers. If yours isn't here, call — a person picks up.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

[State the fee plainly and whether it's waived when we do the repair.]

How fast can you get here when the heat or AC is out?

[Honest same-day / next-day expectation. Tune-Up Club members go first.]

Repair or replace?

If the repair is more than a third of a new system and the unit is 12–15+ years old, replacing usually wins. We'll show you both numbers and the rebates on the new one.

Heat pump or gas furnace for a Missouri winter?

Modern cold-climate heat pumps handle most Franklin County winters; many homes pair one with a gas furnace as backup (dual-fuel). We size it to your house, not a brochure.

What does "Daikin Comfort Pro" mean for me?

Factory-trained dealer status, the 12-year parts limited warranty on registered qualifying systems, and Daikin's Comfort Promise: if you're not satisfied in the first year, we work to make it right.

Which rebates can I get?

Ameren Missouri (heat pumps up to $2,000, AC $1,000, thermostats $250), Spire (furnaces up to $300), and Daikin's seasonal instant rebates. We file them. Current list →

Do you offer financing?

Yes, on new systems, subject to credit approval. Ask when we quote.

My AC is leaking water — what do I do?

Turn it off and call. It's usually a clogged drain or a frozen coil thawing. Running it frozen can kill the compressor.

My furnace won't light.

Check the thermostat is on Heat, the furnace switch is on, and the filter isn't packed solid. If it still won't light, call — igniters and flame sensors are the usual culprits and we carry them.

Do you work on brands other than Daikin?

Every make and model. We sell Daikin because we trust it; we service whatever is in your basement.

Are you licensed?

Missouri doesn't issue a statewide HVAC license; licensing is local. We're licensed and insured for Union and Franklin County, our technicians are NATE-certified, and everyone who handles refrigerant holds EPA Section 608 certification.
